Mother of the Eastern sky
Keeper of the morning light
Maiden of all that is new
I stand before you
Arms stretched; heart wide; mind open.
Bless me with inspiration
Favor me with insight
Lay the knowing deep in my bones.
Fill me with the breath of life that is carried upon the morning breeze
The same breath that has moved across the Earth
Touching all things, in all places, in all times.
Remind me that I too am part of the wind.
That I too am part of all things, in all places, in all times.
I will go forth this day
Wearing the insight of the East as my mantle,
Feet upon the Earth, fingers to the sky, mind sharp and bright.
